probably late 17th/early 18th century, in the form of a broad silver tankard, with spreading stepped foot and wide scroll handle molded at the top with two lugs for hinged cover, painted in blue with floral sprays below a border of foliate scroll mantling, 5-1/8 x 7-1/4 in. - Provenance: Earl D.
