German, 20th century, white glaze porcelain with molded and gilt leafy baroque borders, with underglaze blue crossed swords mark, comprising: 12 dinner plates, 10 in.; 12 salad plates, 7-1/2 in.; 12 small dessert plates, 5-3/8 in.; 13 teacups; 12 saucers; covered sugar; creamer; covered coffee pot, 10-3/4 x 7-1/2 in.

Provenance: M.S. Rau Antiques, New Orleans, Louisiana, purchased August 1992 for $16,500 (accompanied by a copy of receipt); Private Collection, Lancaster, Pennsylvania

Condition

coffee lid with repair to flange, one dinner plate with chip to foot, one tea cup with chip to rim, one tea cup with chip to foot,ÿlight stacking wear, minor losses to gilt, otherwise good condition

Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
