British, 19th century, assembled sets of porcelain in similar gilt and floral designs, including: 10 pieces of Worcester, four cups; four saucers; small plate, 7-1/2 in.; small bowl, 6 in.; most with underglaze blue crescent mark to base; 11 pieces of Royal Crown Derby, four teacups, four saucers; small plate, small bowl, teapot, 6-1/2 in.; all with underglaze purple crown mark over crossed batons and letter "D"; four cups; three saucers; two small plates, 9 in.; unmarked , Provenance: Property of Twin Oaks Plantation, Thomasville, Georgia
one saucer with hairline, some tiny chips to bases, several Royal Crown Derby items with yellow stains to bases (fluoresces), and some glaze crazing, small hairline to rim of teapot, firing crack to interior wall, and small chip to spout; light wear to gilt and paint decoration throughout, other light scratches consistent with age and use
Condition
Purchased items not picked up in Richmond by noon on Sunday will then be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
