19th century, including a 1863 military appointment signed by Andrew Johnson, military governor of Tennessee (1862-1865), 17 x 13 in. good with evidence of folds, some tears, some foxing; three land grants from 1833, 1838, and 1849, 12-1/4 x 15-1/4 in. to 17-1/4 x 11 in. good, evidence of folding, some foxing, some tears; two small Tennessee maps, likely excised from books, 7 x 13-1/2 in. to 7-1/4 x 16-1/2 in. good only with wear at the extremities.
