German, after an 18th century model commissioned for Marie Leszczynska (1703-1768), gilt interior and exterior embellishments with putti, garlands, and roses, panel paintings to either side and lid, female bust handles, floral motif to lid underside, Poland and Saxony armorial, crown finial, situated on four scroll feet, Meissen blue crossed swords mark to base, 7-1/2 in x 10 in.Provenance: Private Collection, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
