key date from the Lincoln series, scarce and missing from many childhood collections, professionally gradedNote:ÿIn 1909 the San Francisco Mint initially released Lincoln Cents bearing the initials "V.D.B." for the designer Victor David Brenner. Upon public outcry of self-aggrandizement on Brenner's part, the remaining production of cents was quickly changed to a version sans initials.
