most Chinese export, all with blue and white landscape and townscape decoration, comprising: six pitchers of varying size and form, largest 8 x 8 x 6 in.; lidded one handled tureen, 8-1/4 x 11-1/4 x 10 in.; footed bowl, 4 x 5-3/4 in.; tea caddy, 5 x 3-1/4 x 1-1/2 in.; square lidded box, 7 x 6 x 6 in.; two cylindrical vases, taller 8 in.; two small bottle vases, 6 in.; cylindrical lidded box, 5 x 4-1/8 in.; rectangular dish with pierced liner, 2 x 5-3/4 x 4-3/4 in.; together with a circular dish with pierced liner and handle, marks for Mottahedeh & Co. to base, 2-1/2 x 6-1/4 x 5-1/4 in.; two trumpet form vases, each 9-3/4 in.
Condition
surface dirt and accretion, typical wear to feet, scattered pinholes and other firing anomalies, scattered scratches and small chips; one pitcher with restoration to rim and handle; tureen with firing cracks to handle; one cylindrical vase with cracks and repairs throughout, drilled hole at base through mark;
Available payment options
Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
