44-3/4 in. round barrel, lock plate marked "1809/eagle/Springfield",left side of barrel with proof marks at breech, butt tang marked "1809", firing mechanism appears to work, iron ramrod
missing sling swivels, loose barrel band without screw, possible replaced breech tang with associated filler, wood surface with scratches, marring, scuffing and dents, crack in wood on left flat at screw, metal with dark brown patina, corrosion, rust and scratches, deep pitting and flash wear at breech
