Georgia, mid 19th century, fiddle handles, including set of five forks and two teaspoons (one with badly damaged bowl), retailer marks for E. J. Johnston (working 1845 to 1849), one teaspoon also marked "MACON GEO", forks with New York maker's mark; one serving spoon, dessert spoon, marks for J.A. & S. S. Virgin (working 1834-1850); set of three teaspoons, retailer marks for Wm B. Johnson (working 1839-1842); two teaspoons, marks for Charles G. St. John (working 1811-1846), "Macon GA"; teaspoon, retailer marks for Peter P Rockwell (early to mid 19th century) and pseudo hallmarks; pair salt spoons, mark of Rufus R. Smith (early to mid 19th century, possibly Macon), 4 in. to 8-3/4 in., 15.53 oz. T.

Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
