German, 19th/20th century, 14 painted porcelain monkey band figures, including: two with Meissen blue crossed swords marks to bases, after models by Johann Joachim K?ndler; eleven with indecipherable marks to bases in underglaze blue; one marked "123"; with figure of boy and dog, faint blue crossed swords mark to base; largest 6 in.Provenance: Property of Twin Oaks Plantation, Thomasville, Georgia

Condition

most with minor wear including scattered surface scratches and nicks, some with scattered areas of paint retouch, some with chips and missing elements; trumpeter with breaks and restorations to hands and instrument; conductor missing both hands; one cellist missing bow; french horn player with chip to face, break and repair to arm and instrument; one bassoon(?) player missing hand and most of instrument, break and repair to hat plume; all with wear to bases
For regional auctions, purchased items not picked up in Richmond by noon on Sunday will then be returned to our Asheville location auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
