Louisiana, mid 19th century, including four spoons, fiddle and thread handle, marks for Henry Peat Buckley (working 1850-1903); five pieces with marks for retailer Henderson & Gaines (working 1841-1865) including two teaspoons, fork, butter knife and salt spoon; two spoons, shaped fiddle handles, marks for retailer John Bliss (1833-1835); spoon, fiddle and shell handle, marks for Moses Peck Stickney (Newburyport, Massachusetts, c. 1820; Boston, Massachusetts c. 1822; New York, NY c. 1827 and New Orleans, Louisiana, working 1830-1832); spoon and fork, sterling, both with marks for retailer A.B. Griswold & Co. (working 1865-1906), 17.49 oz. T., 3-3/4 in. to 8-1/2 in.

Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
